Relocation assistance is available for moves over 50 miles. The PTA will educate patients and families, follow the plan of care, document in the EMR, and coordinate care with rehabilitation staff to optimize patient outcomes,

Qualifications

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Produces documentation in accordance with policy and daily notes.
• Adjusts treatment based on patient response and available evidence after communication with the evaluating therapist.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Follows therapist's plan and adjusts treatment as needed with documentation.
• Provides therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound.
• Administers electrical stimulation and aquatic therapy.
• Maintains daily documentation and EMR entries.
• Communicates progress with referring providers.
