Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement the plan of care set by the physical therapist for patients of all ages. This role serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students, with a sign-on bonus available.

The PTA will educate patients and families, follow the plan of care, document in daily notes, and participate in ongoing education to meet DNV Hip and Knee Certification requirements. Competitive compensation with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification/license required.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Commitment to continuing education as required by DNV Hip and Knee Certification.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts the therapist's plan of care based on patient response with documented communication.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 policy.
• Complete annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Program requirements.
