Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement treatment plans and educate patients across ages. You will follow the plan of care, adjust therapies based on patient response, and document changes per policy.

This role requires PTA licensure per IDFPR, BLS within 30 days, and ongoing CE for DNV Hip/Knee certification standards. Excellent communication with the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; PTA credential.
• Licensed PTA required per IDFPR. BLS within 30 days.
• Ongoing CE to meet DNV Hip & Knee Certification standards.
• Board exam must be completed at next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows therapist's plan of care; adjusts treatment based on patient response with documentation.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 policy and daily notes.
• Completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip/Knee program requirements.
