Job summary

Truist Mortgage is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive marketing and distribution of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies. You will develop and execute marketing plans, provide client-focused mortgage guidance, and actively refer clients to other Truist services.

Applicants should have 1+ year in banking/lending, strong communication and negotiation skills, and be able to comply with SAFE Mortgage Licensing and NMLS checks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in banking or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days and pass an NMLS background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and applicable state and federal laws.
• Provide mortgage clients sound advice based on client needs and product knowledge.
• Consistently execute the referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow‑up as determined by quality control or post‑closing review.
