Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Marketing and Sales professional to drive mortgage loan product growth within bank policies and investor guidelines. You will execute marketing plans, refer clients to other bank services, and support fulfillment with document follow-up.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with adherence to SAFE Mortgage Licensing and background checks. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of banking/lending experience and knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days of employment and background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, Procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Adhere to Truist policies and regulatory rules.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and product benefits.
• Execute referral process to deepen client opportunities with other bank solutions.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up as determined by QC or post-closing review.
