Job summary

Kind Lending seeks a Retail Loan Consultant in the United States (Oregon). You will proactively solicit residential mortgage business, build a residual pipeline, and meet monthly and annual sales goals.

You will network with mortgage, real estate, and related professionals, manage loan applications, analyze financials, structure and price loans, and ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending standards. This is a commission-based role with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Ability to structure and price loans with good judgment and research.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the state of operation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, refinance and purchase loans.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages relationships to help borrowers reach mortgage goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financial situations to recommend loan products.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending standards.
• Understand loan origination processes and manage applications with support staff.
• Input and upload borrower information into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately according to Kind Lending guidelines.
