Job summary

CEC is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide courteous, professional service and technical assistance to end users. The role covers troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, granting access, and supporting a distributed user base. You will handle 1st Level PC/Network support and learn internal business applications.

Associate degree preferred. 1–3 years in corporate help desk, A+ or similar certs are a plus. On-site environment with potential remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of help desk or IT support experience in a corporate setting.
• Basic IT certifications (A+, networking, MCP) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and desk-side problem resolution for corporate users.
• Assist onsite and remote users to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Log calls accurately in the tracking system and follow up as needed.
• Support user access, passwords, and basic network issues.
• Participate in installations, upgrades, and moves of workstation hardware.
