Job summary

Relevant Industrial Llc is seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Material Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service, sales support, and warehouse operations. The role combines inside sales with material coordination to ensure accurate inventory, timely order fulfillment, and strong customer/vendor relationships.

Responsibilities include processing orders, quotations, shipping documentation, cycle counts, and cross-functional collaboration with Account Managers and operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, inside sales, warehouse, inventory, or branch operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience using ERP or order management systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, customer portals, and walk-in inquiries.
• Provide order status updates, pricing information, and product availability.
• Prepare and process quotations.
• Assist customers with product selection and technical recommendations.
• Process returns, credits, and exchanges.
• Partner with Account Managers to support customer accounts and sales growth.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalation when appropriate.
• Coordinate the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to support orders.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Process outbound shipments accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with annual physical inventory counts.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate transfers and movement of materials within the facility.
• Support inventory replenishment activities as needed.
• Prepare shipments using approved carriers and shipping systems.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments as required.
• Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and related paperwork.
• Maintain organized warehouse, stock, dock, and staging areas.
• Operate material handling equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure shipping and warehouse equipment are maintained and operating properly.
• Assist with customer pickups and will-call orders.
• Follow all safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions when observed.
• Maintain accurate records within order management and inventory systems.
• Support branch operations through cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
