Avenue5 Residential in Dallas is seeking a Floating Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in day-to-day operations, leasing, and resident services. You will manage rent collection, reporting, and lease renewals, while guiding staff in leasing, maintenance coordination, and customer care.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in property management, basic MS Office skills, and familiarity with Yardi Voyager. A real estate license is a plus; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years property management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent, and balance rent roll.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit lease records, delinquent accounts, and unlawful detainers; assist with evictions.
• Lease apartments as needed and perform move-ins/outs and renewals.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, maintenance, and office operations.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; communicate with maintenance on repairs.
• Assist with resident relations and problem resolution; represent property in absence of manager.
