Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Sales Manager, Venues in Irvine, CA to guide customers through event experiences, tailor solutions, and maximize revenue across a designated base. You’ll maintain relationships with hotel personnel and coordinate across Encore teams to ensure seamless event experiences.

The role requires solid communication, technical aptitude, and familiarity with hospitality sales processes; prior audiovisual sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or 1+ years Encore or equivalent experience.
• 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred.
• Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach, utilizing Encore’s sales process and methodology.
• Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers, including those submitted through Encore’s venue booking systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events.
• Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings to support the customer event experience.
• Understand event cost structure and incorporate into designs according to profitability guidelines.
• Deliver world-class service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers and venue personnel.
• Research customer history to create personalized experiences.
• Attend customer meetings and respond to questions and challenges.
• Keep CRM data accurate and up-to-date.
• Refer and guide customers through Encore network to secure additional opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
