Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires on-site presence at hotel/conference venues.

Responsibilities include timely setup/breakdown, customer service, and basic troubleshooting of AV equipment. A High School Diploma is required, with a preference for an Associate’s degree and 1 year of AV or hospitality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with staff/vendors.
