Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an outside sales professional to grow and manage both existing and new customers in the commercial construction sector. You will travel daily across the assigned territory, visit job sites and contractor offices, and own the customer relationship from inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent technology skills and capability to adeptly operate NEFCO's CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be goal oriented, have personal integrity and a sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license; driver background check must show a record of sustained safe driving.
• Degree is preferred; industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in construction supply sales.

Responsibilities

• Daily rigorous travel in assigned territory to commercial jobsites and contractor offices.
• Represent the Company professionally with customers and prospects in your territory.
• Own customer relationship with day-to-day service and special deliveries as needed.
• Regular frequency of quality sales calls to customers and prospects.
• Introduce new products and conduct joint sales calls with Vendor Reps and NEFCO Sales Management.
• Assist inside sales during the quote/order process.
• Develop strong working relationship with inside sales team.
• Follow up on quotes generated by inside sales staff and escalate as needed.
• Use NEFCO CRM to record activities and facilitate follow-up.
• Review timecards and approve PTO as part of team coordination.
