Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Hanover, MD is seeking an experienced events coordinator to support Sales & Operations by leading event and group servicing management for conferences, banquets, and meetings.

You will handle food and beverage requirements, AV needs, room allocations, and guest services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The role requires strong organization, teamwork with banquet and catering teams, and upselling opportunities for additional services.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 2 years event management, food industry or hotel experience preferred.
Must obtain and maintain the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency license.

Responsibilities

Ensure all functions have secured sufficient payment based on standard method of payment SOP.
Send all after event receipts and final billing to clients.
Serve as sole contact for assigned definite groups.
Call for all final headcounts and upselling opportunities.
Optimize room rental charges and upsell food, beverage, AV, and hotel services.
Monitor group room blocks and generate detailed resumes for operating departments.
Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations as needed.
Re-book repeat business and prepare resumes for groups prior to arrival.
