Job summary

Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to support event operations and direct sales efforts. You will serve as a liaison between event managers and planners, ensuring on-site coordination, exceptional service, and problem-solving during events.

Ideal candidates have experience in event sales or coordination within hospitality, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in event sales or coordination within hospitality or related industries.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively.
• Proactive mindset and passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Must be available to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of knowledge of the offerings within the hotel, accommodations and departments.
• Support event planning managers on the meeting floor.
• Answer calls professionally and relay information to the Sales & Events team.
• Perform property site tours as requested.
• Submit purchase orders, amenities and leads into Hyatt software systems.
• Coordinate communication between Events Office, Front Desk, Engineering, Culinary, and F&B for Groups and Social Events.
• Resolve guest issues promptly with care and effectiveness.
• Attend departmental meetings and project a professional company image.
