Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to ensure banquet spaces are properly set, maintained, and refreshed for weddings, meetings, conferences, and events.

You will support the banquet team with hands-on care to deliver a polished, professional environment that meets Live!'s standards. You will work in a dynamic, union-represented setting with variable shifts, and may need to obtain a Maryland gaming license and an Alcohol Beverage Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two–three years of banquet houseperson experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license per Maryland requirements and an Alcohol Beverage Card.

Responsibilities

• Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floor plans (chairs, tables, linens, displays).
• Refresh meeting rooms during breaks or on request.
• Break down and clean up event space in a timely and safe fashion.
• Store and organize banquet equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
