Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland seeks a Special Events and Promotions Manager to oversee end-to-end event planning, including venue booking, catering, entertainment, decor, transportation, and staffing for on-site and community events.

Candidate will support sponsored festivals and casino promotions, coordinating with department directors and vendors. The role requires 2–3 years of large-venue event experience, a Marketing/Entertainment background, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Entertainment or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of event planning experience at a large venue or casino.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to obtain gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute all Special Events and Promotions.
• Coordinate with Marketing Director on contracts, proposals, and budgets.
• Manage guest lists, security, and vendor relationships for events.
• Track event expenses and prepare financial analyses.
