Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland seeks a Group Sales Manager to drive new business, cultivate key client relationships, and increase revenue across designated market segments.

You will develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal partners to grow occupancy and events. Ideal candidates have a four-year degree and at least two years in hotel group sales, with Mid-Atlantic regional knowledge.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of two years of hotel group sales experience.
• Experience/account knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic Region preferred.
• Direct experience with Group: Corporate, Association, SMERF, Catering Events is required.
• Knowledge of Delphi FDC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an account base to achieve revenue goals through proactive sales.
• Prompt response to all inquiries and correspondence from clients, prospects and lead referrals.
• Follow up on sales leads assigned by leadership.
• Implement a sales action plan for development of designated market segments (with or without food and beverage) including: prospecting outside sales calls, site tours, and executing trade shows and sales trips as designated.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Sales Leadership.
• Step in for Sales Leadership as required in their absence.
