Job summary

Sunward Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Commercial Processing Specialist 1 to assist commercial lenders in managing member business relationships, including loans and deposits.

You will initiate loan documentation, order appraisals and titles, ensure compliance with regulations, close loans, maintain files, and support the lending team to deliver a superior member experience.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; comfortable with technology.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and lending practices.

Responsibilities

• Initiate generation of documentation for complex and non-complex business loans and ensure compliance with applicable rules.
• Order title policies, appraisals, UCC reports, and other documents needed to originate business loans.
• Confirm insurance and titles are received and maintained; ensure documentation is complete.
• Perform pre-closing and post-closing reviews in the supervisor’s absence.
• Review loan documents to verify payments and values; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Close non-complex loans and maintain business loan files for documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality and timely member service.
• Handle transactions on business member accounts and audit input data.
