Job summary

Sunward in Reston, VA is seeking a Commercial Processing Specialist 1 to assist commercial lenders in managing member business relationships, including loans, deposits, and related services. You will generate documentation for complex and non-complex business loans and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

You will coordinate with lenders, order titles, appraisals, UCCs, and other documents, perform pre- and post-closing reviews, maintain loan files, and ensure audit and security

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort with IT.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initiating and documenting complex and non-complex business loans while ensuring compliance with applicable rules.
• Order titles, appraisals, UCC reports, and other documents needed to originate business loans.
• Verify insurance and titles are received and maintained, and that documentation is complete.
• Perform pre-closing and post-closing reviews when supervisor is absent.
• Review loan origination and closing documents for accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Close non-complex loans and maintain business loan files for documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely member service.
• Handle business account transactions, audit inputs, and loan payments/advances.
