Job summary

INTERNATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE is seeking an Account Executive for Commercial Lines in the United States. The role supports producer activities, handles new accounts, and retains existing clients in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment.

The position requires strong service, sales delivery, and underwriting coordination, with emphasis on timely renewals, accurate documentation, and effective client communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State licenses to discuss and/or sell insurance as required by the insurance department.
• Maintain CE credits to renew license.

Responsibilities

• Aids clients with service needs and makes changes to existing accounts.
• Provides service and marketing responsibilities, meeting service and sales delivery standards.
• Interacts with customers to provide information or respond to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
• Gathers information and risk management recommendations for renewals and delivers renewals within five days of receipt.
• Conducts periodic service calls for designated accounts.
• Maintains and updates electronic and transactional files.
• Completes policy and endorsement requests within three days of date quoted to client.
• Follows up on renewals and cancellations to determine action within deadlines.
• Documents all material conversations with insureds/carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
