Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to drive catering revenue, manage accounts, and coordinate memorable events for our Detroit-area hotels. You will develop new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and craft proposals tailored to each event.

The role requires strong sales instincts, hospitality know-how, and the ability to coordinate with culinary, service and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years sales or catering experience in hospitality.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer relations.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (education).

Responsibilities

• Develop new catering business opportunities and manage existing accounts.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while meeting revenue goals.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site events with culinary and service teams.
• Prepare and present customized proposals and wedding/ffer packages.
• Maintain accurate client records and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure flawless events.
