Job summary

Azul Hospitality in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to develop new accounts and maintain existing ones, while implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize hotel profits and guest satisfaction.

You will manage catering accounts, negotiate contracts, and present to prospective clients, aiming to upsell and build lasting relationships across events and groups.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales and/or catering experience in hospitality preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage group and catering accounts to maximize business potential.
• Negotiate group and catering business and contracts that meet or exceed hotel revenue goals.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
• Make on-site and field presentations to prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to upsell through F&B offerings, room upgrades, AV and lighting upgrades, and spa services where applicable.
• Drive strategies to develop long term business relationships and repeat business.
• Prospect for new catering business using diverse methods and channels.
• Develop long term business relationships and consistently book repeat business.
• Coordinate, plan and implement wedding related marketing tactics and events.
