Job summary

Cambria Hotel Downtown Detroit is seeking an energetic Event Sales Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. You will coordinate with Sales and property departments to ensure top-tier service during pre-event, event, and post-event phases, focusing on complex events and revenue opportunities.

Onsite role with occasional extended hours, weekends, and holidays required. Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills are essential as you up-sell services and manage group blocks

Responsibilities

• Execute Event Operations and coordinate with Sales and departments to ensure seamless service across pre-event, event, and post-event phases.
• Upsell products and services to maximize revenue and enhance events.
• Serve as primary contact for the event planner after turnover from sales to operations.
• Manage group room blocks, budgets and group profitability.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address guest feedback during events.
