Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. This role emphasizes safety, community relations, and quality programming for before and after school care.

Ideal candidate will supervise students, ensure licensing compliance, and support staff with engaging activities while fostering a positive, inclusive environment for families and school partners.

Qualifikationen

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Age 18 or over.
• Experience caring for children (at least 3 months/455 hours)
• At least 15 clock hours of training per year (June 1–May 31).
• Knowledge of childcare basics and safe practices.
• Ability to develop and implement appropriate discipline procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Follow and enforce Colorado licensing requirements.
• Supervise students directly and engage with them during program times.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, school staff and district staff.
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promote and market the program for before/after care and full days.
• Attend professional development trainings as required by licensing and district.
• Assist to implement quality lesson plans for each day the program operates.
• Assist with maintenance, storage, and repair of equipment and supplies.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities and program quality.
• Create and implement activities and field trips for full day programming.
• Attend monthly program staff meetings as required by the director.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
