Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking staff to supervise students in a school-based child care program under a qualified leader. You will help develop strong relations with the school and community while ensuring safe, engaging activities for children.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Work directly under the supervision of the director or leader.
• Complete at least 15 clock hours of training each year.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work with school-age children.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Active supervision of students in the school-based child care program.
• Follow procedures stated in the ECS Procedures Manual.
• Participate and engage students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follow and enforce program discipline policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintenance, storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
• Demonstrate excellent communication with parents, students, staff and coworkers.
• Follow district policies and use district facilities with care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
