The role emphasizes supervision of students, adherence to Colorado licensing requirements, safety, communication with parents and staff, and collaboration on lesson plans and program quality, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• At least three months (455 hours) of verified childcare supervision experience.
• Annual training: 15 clock hours (June 1–May 31).
• Knowledge of childcare basics.
• Ability to discipline appropriately.
• Some leadership and management ability.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces all licensing requirements.
• Supervises and engages with students during program times.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Communicates with parents, students and staff.
• Promotes and markets the program.
• Assists with lesson plans and program quality.
• Attends monthly program staff meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
