Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Age 18 or over.
• Experience with caring for children or a qualifying credential as outlined by the program.
• Annual professional training hours required (clock hours).
• Knowledge of childcare basics and safety for children.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce licensing requirements for the program.
• Supervise and engage with students during program hours.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff and district personnel.
• Maintain safe conditions for all participants.
• Promote and market the program for before/after care and full days.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
• Assist in implementing quality lesson plans and activities.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supplies storage.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and contribute ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
