Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. You will help develop and promote quality programming while fostering positive relations with families and school clientele.

Responsibilities include supervising students, ensuring licensing compliance, and contributing to program quality through lesson planning and activities. Strong communication and leadership are required for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Some leadership and management skill
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare
• Any CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Follow Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements.
• Directly supervise and engage with students during program times.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, school staff, and district staff.
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promote and market the program for before/after care and full days.
• Assist in implementing quality lesson plans and activities.
• Assist with maintenance, storage, and repair of equipment and supplies.
• Attend monthly program staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
