Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program, and to promote positive community relations among school and district families.

The role emphasizes supervision of students, adherence to licensing requirements, safe programming, and support for developing quality lesson plans. The position requires leadership and strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Leader must demonstrate ability to work with children.
• At least three months (455 hours) of verified experience or an Early Childhood Credential Level I.
• Annual 15 clock hours of training (June 1–May 31).
• CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce Colorado Department of Early Childhood licensing requirements (Daily).
• Supervise and engage with students during program hours (Daily).
• Maintain open communication with parents, students, staff and district personnel (Daily).
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff (Daily).
• Promote and market the before/after care program and full days (Daily).
• Assist in implementing quality lesson plans and enrichment activities (Monthly).
