Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention environment in Tampa, FL. You will work under an Operations Manager to ensure flawless events and superior guest satisfaction.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associates preferred) and 1 year of customer service or AV experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. On-site work with flexible hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license required for potential vehicle operation.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations through service.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately; use Navigator as needed.
• Interact with clients and vendors to finalize arrangements and invoices.
