Job summary

Quirk Auto is currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Massachusetts. You will greet customers in a timely, friendly manner, write repair orders, and explain charges after a vehicle walk-around to document concerns.

You will provide complete cost estimates for labor and parts and monitor the progress of repairs throughout the day. This role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to organize and manage work time.

Qualifications

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Explain charges and write repair orders clearly.
• Document customers' concerns after vehicle walk-around.
• Provide complete cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Monitor repair progress and communicate changes to customers.
• Advise customers on vehicle care per manufacturer specs.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Write Repair Orders and explain charges.
• Perform vehicle walk around and document customer concerns.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Check the progress of repair throughout the day.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time impacts.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
• Follows all Quirk safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Skills
