Nutley Kia, part of the Generation Auto Group, is seeking a Service Advisor who serves as the crucial liaison between customers and the service department. You will greet customers, collect vehicle information, and coordinate repairs with technicians.

You will document issues on repair orders, conduct preliminary inspections, write clear service recommendations, and prepare complete labor and parts cost estimates while maintaining excellent customer communication.

Qualificações

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred.
• Kia experience is a plus
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and service orders and repair processes
• Familiar with dealership management systems (DMS)

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and obtain accurate vehicle information.
• Document problems on repair orders and note concerns from inspection.
• Test drive as needed and review service history.
• Provide clear service recommendations and cost estimates with urgency.
• Coordinate with service dispatcher, technicians, and parts department.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and keep them informed of progress.
