Job summary

Hyman Brothers Auto Group in Midlothian, VA is seeking a dedicated KIA Service Advisor to join our team.

As the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, you will greet customers, assess service needs, and clearly communicate issues, repairs and costs.

You will coordinate with technicians, maintain records, follow up on status, and promote additional services while upholding our standards of customer service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Proficient with computer systems and service software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Assess and accurately document customer vehicle service needs.
• Clearly communicate vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and associated costs to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality service.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and customer interactions.
• Follow up with customers regarding service status and post-service satisfaction.
• Promote additional services or maintenance products as appropriate.
