Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Three months (455 hours) of verified childcare supervision experience or equivalent credential.
• Annual 15 clock hours of professional training.
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare.
• Ability to develop and utilize discipline procedures.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow Colorado licensing requirements daily.
• Supervise and engage with students during program times.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promote and market the before/after school program.
• Attend professional development trainings as required.
• Assist in implementing quality lesson plans.
• Assist with maintenance and storage of equipment.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities.
• Create activities and field trips for full day programming.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
