Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead to support the sales management team and ensure the DSD distribution center operates smoothly. The Lead will manage daily warehouse duties while overseeing inventory control and route-related activities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of warehouse experience, proficiency with ERP systems such as D365, and strong leadership and organizational skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience using ERP systems such as D365.
• Experience leading and directing others is preferred.
• Must be organized with attention to inventory accuracy and rotation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse team to ensure timely completion.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse staff.
• Manages receiving, storage, loading, and inventory accuracy.
• Unloads trailers and checks loads for accuracy.
• Verifies picked items and signs load tickets.
• Balances daily inventory using handheld devices.
• Handles returns to stock and damaged products.
• Maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness.
