Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, a leading snack manufacturer, is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead in Chesapeake, VA to oversee daily DC operations and support the sales management team. The role involves leading warehouse staff, managing inventory, coordinating routes, and ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and safety compliance to provide efficient DSD service.

Candidates should be able to use ERP systems (D365), MS Office, and operate a forklift when required, while maintaining high

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience leading and directing others is preferred.
• Requires effective verbal and written communication; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Orders inventory; receives, stores, loads, and handles products and materials.
• Unloads trailers and checks loads for accuracy.
• Monitors inventory balance using handheld devices and reconciles discrepancies.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and rotation of products.
• Covers routes as directed; delivers products to customers and merchandises in accounts.
• Leads month-end inventory counts and reports discrepancies to leadership.
