Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Pineville, NC is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead to support the sales management team and run the DSD distribution center efficiently.

The role requires 3+ years of warehouse experience, leadership ability, ERP experience (D365), forklift operation, and a valid driver’s license with a DOT medical card. Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience leading and directing others.
• ERP experience such as D365 highly preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to inventory rotation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent decision making on inventory needs.
• Must be 19+ yrs, valid driver's license, clean driving record, DOT medical card.
• Able to cover routes and operate a delivery vehicle safely.
• Forklift operation may be required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to DSD Warehouse Utilities.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Orders inventory; receives, stores, loads, and keeps products accounted for.
• Unloads trailers and checks trailer loads for accuracy.
• Checks loads, signs load tickets to verify inventory.
• Balances daily inventory using handheld computer.
• Accepts and checks return to stock, damaged products.
• Keeps the DSD warehouse organized and clean.
• Covers open routes as directed; delivers products to customers.
• Leads month-end inventory counts and reports discrepancies.
