Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead in Chesapeake, VA to support the sales management team and ensure the DSD DC operates efficiently. The Lead will manage DC warehouse duties while overseeing daily operations and inventory accuracy.

The role requires 3+ years in warehousing, ERP experience (D365), and strong leadership with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid license and forklift skills are preferred. This is an on-site position with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience using ERP systems such as D365.
• Experience leading and directing others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse Utilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Orders inventory; Receives, stores, loads, and keeps products in excellent condition.
• Unloads trailers; checks loads for accuracy.
• Verifies inventory and signs load tickets.
• Uses handheld computer to balance daily inventory.
• Accepts and checks return to stock and damaged products.
• Keeps warehouse organized and clean, including restrooms.
• Covers open routes as directed by management; delivers products.
• Leads month-end inventory counts and reports discrepancies.
