Iberia Foods West is hiring a Route Sales Representative to manage a compact, high-velocity sales route across 10–18 customers per day. Youll visit accounts weekly or biweekly, selling and delivering Caribbean/Latin American products with a strong focus on relationship building.

We seek bilingual (Spanish/English) professionals with sales experience, ready to drive promotions, handle in-store events, and optimize routes.

We are a leading company in the sale and distribution of Latin American products under brands such as Iberia, San Marco, and Badia, among others.We are partners in the growth of supermarkets such as Walmart, HEB, Fiesta, convenience stores, taco shops, gas stations, and other businesses.If you like sales, this opportunity might be for you.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Route Sales Representative is responsible for managing a sales route of approximately 10-18 customers per day, ensuring all accounts are visited on a weekly or biweekly basis.Customer Service & SatisfactionSell and deliver products to customers while maintaining strong relationships.Represent the company professionally in the market and ensure a 100% weekly service efficiency rate.Monitor product rotation to maintain freshness and quality.Sales & Business GrowthDevelop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.Negotiate promotions and new product introductions with store managers/owners.Coordinate and lead in-store promotional activities.Use the sales toolkit to maximize customer potential.Retain existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base.Route Management & ProfitabilityManage route itineraries and customer portfolios for optimal efficiency.Assess route productivity and make necessary adjustments.Operational Excellence & ComplianceMerchandise and rotate products to maintain proper inventory levels.Place, review, and upload daily product orders before leaving the warehouse.Handle cash collection, convert to money orders when needed, and complete daily sales reconciliation with the check-in clerk.Maintain truck cleanliness, integrity, and inventory control.Key Performance MetricsDaily Effectiveness (including customer service calls)Brand PenetrationSpoils ManagementCustomer Base Growth & RetentionDaily Sales PerformanceQualifications & SkillsEducation & ExperienceBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Non-CDL driver's license.Clean background checkHigh school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or a related field.Preferred 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in DSD (Direct Store Delivery).Experience working in small-to-mid-sized DSD companies is a plus.Technical & Physical RequirementsProficient in using technological devices (tablets, smartphones, and route management software).Comfortable working independently and driving extensively within the metro area.Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manage physical product deliveries.Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditioJob Type: Full-timePay and TrainingPaid as a W-2, weekly The first 3 weeks are training: 2 weeks with a trainer 1 week on your own with supportPay during training:$700 base + $100 bonus (with full attendance) = $800 per week After training: Base pay: $230 if weekly sales are less than $7,000 $300 if weekly sales are $7,000 or more Commission: 7% of weekly sales Bonuses: Sales over $9,000: For every $1,000 in sales after $9,000, you receive a $50 bonus.Average weekly income ranges from $800 to $1,300 or more, depending on performance.Payroll Schedule The sales week runs from Thursday to Wednesday. Payroll is processed weekly on Fridays.
