Job summary

Alcon in Columbus, OH seeks an Account Manager to lead Dry Eye Device sales for the Great Lakes territory. You will drive the full selling cycle, train clinicians, and partner with Eye Care practices to expand patient care.

The role requires English fluency, 2+ years of relevant experience, and prior medical device/sales background; expect a 75% travel schedule and no sponsorship/relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0yrs).
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Medical Device experience.
• Validated Eye Care Sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire selling process from prospecting to securing new customers and training, to grow dry eye sales.
• Consult Eye Care practices to improve patient care and practice profitability.
• Provide product and technical training to doctors on proper use of Alcon devices.
• Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Manage the territory budget.
