Flytrex Inc. is expanding its drone delivery network in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

The Site Infrastructure & Launch Manager will own each new site from approval through first delivery and into stable operations, coordinating power, permits, flight readiness, and partner readiness on the ground. This role requires hands-on electrical experience, site activation leadership, and strong written communication while working in the field across the DFW metro and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, launch, deployment, infrastructure rollout, or logistics with a fixed date.
• 3+ years hands-on electrical or power infrastructure field experience: commercial/industrial installations, EV charging, generator, telecom power.
• Working knowledge of NEC; ability to build load calculations, read diagrams, size services/generators; know when licensed electricians are needed.
• Experience with utilities on new service and with city inspectors on permits, inspections, corrections.
• Experience writing scopes, obtaining bids, and managing electricians, contractors, and vendors to drawings, budget, and dates.
• Strong field judgment and ability to switch between executive updates and site-level details.

Responsibilities

• Launch ownership: manage new sites from approval through launch and stable operations to hit go-live dates.
• Build and run critical path plans for site readiness, power, permits, operations, staffing, and partners; address risks with solutions.
• Act as on-ground launch captain to clear blockers and present decision-ready options to leadership.
• Enforce go/no-go criteria across infrastructure, safety, and flight readiness; conduct acceptance checkouts before first flight.
• Lead post-launch reviews to update playbooks for faster, lower-cost future rollouts.
• Site selection & feasibility: assess power access, permitting, and leasing readiness; provide deployment go/no-go decisions.
