Job summary

Flytrex seeks a Launch & Deployment Manager for the DFW region to own new drone sites from approval through first delivery and into stable operations. You will manage electrical power infrastructure, permitting, flight readiness, and partner readiness while coordinating with utilities and city inspectors.

The role demands hands-on field work and clear cross-team communication. You will build and enforce critical-path plans, drive decision-ready options to leadership, and ensure go/no-go criteria

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex site launches with multi-team alignment.
• 3+ years in electrical or power infrastructure field work.
• Know-how of NEC, load calculations, and panel schedules.
• Experience with utilities, permits, inspections, and bids.
• Strong written communication for field vs leadership updates.

Responsibilities

• Own new site launches from approval through stable operations and go-live.
• Develop critical-path plans for power, permits, ops, staffing and partners.
• Act as on-ground launch captain to remove blockers and present options.
• Enforce go/no-go criteria for infrastructure, safety and flight readiness.
• Lead post-launch reviews to update playbooks for future rollouts.
• Handoff fully tested, energized sites to operations with docs.
