Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is expanding backyard drone delivery across Dallas–Fort Worth and beyond.

The Site Infrastructure & Launch Manager owns each new site from approval through first delivery and into stable operations, coordinating power, permits, and flight operations. You will build the critical path for site readiness, electrical infrastructure, and partner readiness, acting as the on-ground launch captain who clears blockers and drives decision-ready options to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, launch, deployment, infrastructure rollout, or logistics with multi-team ownership and fixed dates.
• 3+ years hands-on electrical or power infra field experience: commercial/industrial electrical, EV charging, solar/storage, telecom, generator or BESS.
• Working knowledge of the NEC; ability to build load calcs, read one-line diagrams and panel schedules, size service/generator.
• Experience working with utilities on new service and with city inspectors on permits/inspections/corrections.
• Experience writing scopes, obtaining bids, and managing electricians, contractors, and vendors to drawings, budget, and dates.
• Strong field judgment to distinguish ready-from-planning; capable of high-level updates and detailed, site-level explanations.
• Comfort with low-voltage networking (cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet) and GPS/RTK hardware.
• Clear written communication; document what you build and learn.

Responsibilities

• Own new sites from approval through launch and stable operations to hit go-live dates.
• Build and run critical path plans for site readiness, power, permits, operations, staffing, and partners.
• Act as on-ground launch captain to clear blockers and present decision-ready options to leadership.
• Enforce go/no-go criteria across infrastructure, safety, and flight readiness; run acceptance checkouts before first flight.
• Lead post-launch reviews and update playbooks for faster future rollouts.
• Assess candidate sites for power, access, permitting before lease signing; provide deployment decisions.
• Scope work, bid, and manage licensed electricians through installation, inspection, energization; manage budgets.
• Verify installations against drawings before energizing hardware; install/commission hubs, chargers, networking.
