Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is seeking a Site Infrastructure & Launch Manager to lead new drone delivery sites from approval through first delivery and into stable operations, owning critical power, permitting, and flight readiness.

The role requires coordinating utilities, electricians, and vendors to meet go-live targets in the DFW area. You will build load calculations, oversee generator or utility setups, and ensure energized hubs, chargers, and networking are ready before the first drone flies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, launch, deployment, or logistics with fixed go-live dates.
• 3+ years hands-on electrical or power infrastructure field experience.
• Working knowledge of the NEC; able to read one-lines, diagrams and size services.
• Experience working with utilities on new service and with city inspectors on permits.
• Experience writing scopes, bidding, and managing electricians, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong field judgment and ability to switch between executive updates and site-level detail.
• Clear written communication documenting builds and learnings.

Responsibilities

• Own new sites from approval through launch and stable operations to hit target go-live dates.
• Build and run critical path plans covering site readiness, power, permits, operations, staffing, and partners.
• Act as on-ground launch captain to clear blockers and escalate decision-ready options to leadership.
• Enforce go/no-go criteria across infrastructure, safety, and flight readiness, and run acceptance checkouts before first flight.
• Lead post-launch reviews to update playbooks for faster, lower-cost future rollouts.
• Assess candidate sites for power, access, permitting before lease signing or commitments.
• Provide technical go/no-go decisions and manage landlord/HOA requirements.
• Scope work and manage licensed electricians through installation, inspection, energization, and budgeting.
