Job summary

Total Transportation is seeking a Driver Recruiter to screen applicants, review MVR/DAC and criminal backgrounds, and extend offers. You’ll inform applicants about operations, benefits, pay, OTR and dedicated opportunities, while coordinating with internal and external customers.

A high school diploma and 0–1 year experience in recruitment or transportation are preferred. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm at the Jackson MS terminal, with a compensation range of $35,900–$53,800.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of transportation experience, training, sales or recruiting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen applicants and maintain knowledge of hiring guidelines.
• Review MVR, DAC and criminal background to assess suitability.
• Extend offers to qualified applicants.
• Inform applicants about operations, benefits, pay, OTR and opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers and maintain attendance.
