Total Transportation of Mississippi in Jackson, MS is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support driver recruitment from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation range listed: 25,400 – 38,100 USD annually. You will handle data collection, credentialing paperwork, and coordination of travel for new hires.

Qualifications

• Data entry must be fast and accurate.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Good interpersonal skills for interaction with drivers and staff.
• Experience using office equipment (copier, fax, scanner) is needed.
• Basic knowledge of record keeping and filing.

Responsibilities

• Answer or make calls and collect information from callers to complete data.
• Explain per diem pay options and benefits to drivers.
• Track and report on driver candidates during hiring for required documentation and tests.
• Collect identifications for I-9 processing.
• Coordinate travel plans so new hires arrive for orientation and reporting.
• Assist supervisor or recruiters with paperwork.
• Gather missing background information for new hires and file records.
• May assist as recruiting processor when workload requires.
• Maintain good attendance to keep the department efficient and cost effective.
