Job summary

PS Logistics is seeking a Driver Recruiter in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries from prospective drivers and conducting pre-screening. A successful Recruiter must have excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

Requirements include 1-3 years of experience in transportation or recruiting and strong organizational skills. This is a salary position with no guaranteed career progression incentives, but opportunities may arise in the future.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in customer service or sales is preferred.

• Conduct background checks on qualified candidates
• Have knowledge of MVR and DAC reports
• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, recruiting, or safety is a plus.

Qualifications

A Successful Recruiter must consistently demonstrate the company’s Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Recruiter must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Have knowledge of MVR and DAC reports
• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, recruiting, or safety required
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Previous work experience in customer service or sales is preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and have a great interpersonal skill
