Job summary

Auto Driveaway is seeking an energetic Driver Recruiter to onboard drivers and support safety compliance across the nation. You will build and maintain a diverse driver network essential to operations and customer experience, ensuring DOT/CDL readiness and regulatory alignment.

You will screen candidates, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop metrics to optimize driver utilization. A strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and proactive sourcing will drive success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years full recruitment lifecycle experience for drivers.
• CDL driver experience or familiarity preferred.
• Background in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high energy and drive for results.
• Ability to conduct cold calls and sourcing via web channels.
• Proficient in email and Excel/Microsoft Office.
• Project planning and management skills.
• Data analysis or reporting experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Recruit professional drivers for all asset types including DOT/CDL resources.
• Screen applications and conduct interviews to onboard drivers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align driver population with forecasts.
• Develop driver utilization metrics to keep safe drivers engaged.
• Establish a driver engagement platform to boost culture and service.
• Partner with safety and compliance on onboarding and training.
• Explore new recruiting opportunities (cold-calling, job fairs, agencies, internet sourcing).
• Provide reporting and analytics to leadership.
• Enhance Auto Driveaway’s national reputation as the driveaway company of choice.
