Job summary

Auto Driveaway is seeking an energetic Driver Recruiter to introduce and onboard drivers and assist with safety compliance duties. This role maintains a diverse network of professional drivers to support nationwide operations and timely delivery of assets.

The position focuses on recruitment across DOT/CDL drivers, compliance with FMCSA regulations, and collaborating with safety teams. Strong sourcing, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, full lifecycle, drivers and compliance.
• Experience with CDL drivers is strongly desired.
• Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with high energy and results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Recruit professional drivers for all asset types and conduct interviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align driver pool with forecasted volume.
• Develop driver utilization metrics to keep safe drivers engaged.
• Establish a driver engagement platform to support culture and service.
• Partner with safety/compliance on onboarding and training processes.
• Perform reporting and analytics as requested.
• Grow the company’s reputation as the driveaway partner of choice.
