Job summary

Auto Driveaway, one of the largest professional driveaway companies in the US, is seeking an energetic Driver Recruiter to introduce and onboard drivers while supporting safety compliance duties. You will maintain a diverse driver network essential to operations and service quality.

Responsibilities include recruiting professional drivers (including DOT/CDL resources), conducting interviews, ensuring FMCSA compliance, and providing reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience for drivers with full lifecycle of recruitment.
• Experience with CDL drivers is strongly desired.
• Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• High energy, enthusiasm and drive for achieving results; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Recruit professional drivers for all asset types, including DOT and CDL capable resources.
• Screen applications; conduct phone and/or in-person interviews to onboard drivers.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to align driver population with forecasted needs.
• Develop driver utilization metrics to keep drivers engaged.
• Partner with safety/compliance team on onboarding and training processes.
• Explore recruiting opportunities via traditional and non-traditional methods.
• Provide reporting and analytics on recruitment activities.
• Grow the company's reputation as the driveaway company of choice.
